Next Step Next One presents A Kidney Convo – a 90-minute, community-centered event designed to spark meaningful conversations about how we can support people living with kidney disease. Through short films, guided discussion, and personal storytelling, the event invites attendees to reflect, connect, and explore ways to make a difference—together.
What it is
A safe space to learn through real stories from real donors and recipients
Guided discussion that answers honest questions without medical jargon
Camera off, audio off. Participants ask questions in the chat
A chance to decide — on your own terms — if this is something you want to explore further
What it isn’t
Not a sales pitch — no one will ask you to donate your kidney
Not a commitment — attending does not mean you’re signing up for anything
Not pressuring — if someone shared this with you, attending is entirely your choice
Not a medical lecture — this is storytelling, not a clinical presentation
