One Kidney Climb- Grand Canyon Rim to Rim

Kidney Donor Athletes has announced its first domestic One Kidney Climb event, after several successful international advocacy events. In partnership with living kidney donor-owned expedition company Dash Adventures, a team of 15 Kidney Donor Athletes will trek from the south rim of the Grand Canyon, down into the valley, and back up to the north rim in just one day. This trek is meant to showcase the physical capacity of kidney donors post-donation, dispelling any misconceptions about living donors having impaired athletic ability.
